ABOUT THE ROLE

 

The Competitions Coordinator - Central Australia is responsible for coordinating the operations and administration of the Central Australian Football League (CAFL) as well as support regional competitions. 

 

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

 

  • Preparation and Administration of the CAFL Competitions.
  • Assist the administration of regional competitions to ensure consistency in delivery of regional competitions.
  • Preparation and coordination of CAFL Match Day operations. • Ensure the competition is administered in line with the AFLNT Rules & Regulations and CAFL By Laws. 
  • Support with relationships between the League and Club presidents and other key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the match staff duties and rostering.
  • Other projects from time to time as directed by the Club and Competitions Manager Central Australia.
  • Assist in preparing any relevant information that will assist the media department with media releases that relate to the regional leagues.
  • Coordinate the compiling of data and information for competition reporting.
  • Support and contribute to the success of the broader team. OUR IDEAL TEAM MEMBER

  • Highly competent administration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with volunteers, volunteer boards and committees
  • Demonstrated organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Computer literacy in Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to remain effective when faced with changing tasks, responsibilities, or people
  • Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively unsupervised
  • Well-developed, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Satisfactory Working with Children Check
  • NT Drivers Licence
