ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking Interchange Stewards in New South Wales and Tasmania, who play a crucial role in the staging of AFL and AFLW matches. This role provides important support to the AFL Football Operations and Umpiring Departments and ensures the safe and smooth running of AFL and AFLW matches on a weekly basis.

 

We are looking for candidates with a passion for the game, available to work on a casual basis at AFL and AFLW games and available to attend online training and education meetings as they called throughout the year. Throughout the football season (February to December) you will be rostered to attend matches on weekends which may also include working on public holidays from time to time.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

Key Accountabilities:

The Interchange Steward is responsible for managing the team submission process prior to the commencement of each AFL and AFLW game and maintains the integrity of all rules and regulations pertaining to the use of the interchange gate during a game and recording all transactions using the AFL’s online system.
