ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking Shot Clock Operators in NSW, QLD, WA and TAS, who play a crucial role in the staging of AFL and AFLW matches. This role provides important support to the AFL Football Operations and Umpiring Departments and ensures the safe and smooth running of AFL and AFLW matches on a weekly basis
We are looking for candidates with a passion for the game, available to work on a casual basis at AFL and AFLW games and available to attend online training and education meetings as they called throughout the year.
Throughout the football season (February to December) you will be rostered to attend matches on weekends which may also include working on public holidays from time to time.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
Key Accountabilities:
A Shot Clock Operator is responsible for managing the time players have prior to having a shot on goal and the time taken between goals. At certain venues they will also display free kick information on the scoreboard and ensure the rules and regulations around shots on goal are adhered to.
