The opportunity

This role helps ensure AFL and club-branded merchandise reaches fans while maintaining the quality, consistency and brand standards that support Australia’s game. Working within the Consumer Product team, you will provide administrative and coordination support across licensing and onfield product activities, helping keep approvals, communications and records organised and on track.

 

Reporting to the Head of Consumer Product and based at AFL House in Melbourne, this casual role plays an important part in supporting the efficient delivery of Consumer Product initiatives and maintaining accurate information across key processes.

 

What you’ll own

You will help keep product and licensing activities organised, accurate and progressing to agreed timelines.

 

You’ll add value through:

  • Supporting brand and licensing compliance by reviewing artwork, logos and product information against established guidelines
  • Coordinating approvals, follow-ups and communications with internal stakeholders, clubs and external partners to help keep deliverables on track
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date tracking tools for onfield products and related activities
  • Ensuring product information, documentation and records are well organised, accessible and current
  • Identifying and escalating risks, delays or dependencies that may impact approvals or delivery timeframes
  • Assisting with the administration of licensing and consumer product processes to support efficient team operations
  • Providing timely updates and information to support decision-making across Consumer Product initiatives
  • Contributing general administrative and coordination support across team projects and priorities as required to support successful outcomes

 

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative, coordination or team support in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy across documentation and tracking processes
  • Well-developed organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience maintaining records, trackers or databases with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to coordinate stakeholders and follow through on actions to completion
  • Confidence working independently while contributing positively to a team environment
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues, following up actions and keeping work progressing
  • Sound judgement when handling information and managing competing priorities
  • Commitment to delivering quality outcomes and supporting continuous improvement in team processes
