The opportunity

The Stadium Activations Event Coordinator plays an important role in bringing premium stadium experiences, partner activations and major event moments to life at Marvel Stadium. Supporting the Premium and Stadium Experiences portfolio, this role helps deliver engaging experiences that elevate the guest journey and strengthen commercial partnerships.

 

Working closely with the Premium Events & Engagement Manager, you will support the planning and delivery of stadium activations, attractions, partner experiences and premium event initiatives across Marvel Stadium’s year-round precinct. From marquee events and product launches to live sites and special experiences, you will help ensure operational excellence and memorable outcomes for partners, clients and fans.

 

Please note this is a 12-month fixed term, part time (0.6 FTE) opportunity.

 

What you’ll own

You’ll help deliver premium experiences that enhance the Marvel Stadium precinct and support broader commercial and engagement objectives.

 

You’ll add value through:

  • Supporting the delivery of premium events, partner activations and stadium experiences across Marvel Stadium initiatives
  • Coordinating event deliverables to ensure experiences align with project objectives, guest expectations and commercial outcomes
  • Sourcing and coordinating talent, entertainment, theming, styling and event suppliers to elevate activations and event experiences
  • Managing event logistics and supplier coordination in the lead-up to event delivery
  • Developing detailed event documentation, including run sheets, briefings and handover materials
  • Supporting event-day execution and ensuring a high standard of operational delivery and guest experience
  • Assisting with post-event reporting, feedback collection and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting invoicing processes and budget administration for events and activations
  • Collaborating with internal teams across stadium marketing, attractions, precinct, operations and commercial partnerships
  • Assisting with premium member events, matchdays, corporate hospitality functions and AFLConnect events as required
  • Building strong working relationships with external suppliers, partners, promoters and premium clients
  • Contributing to a proactive, collaborative and customer-focused team environment

 

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated experience in events, hospitality, activations or premium experience delivery, ideally with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Experience coordinating premium events or activations with a strong focus on guest experience and operational excellence
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building capability across internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, entertainment, talent or event logistics
  • High attention to detail and strong administration capability, including event documentation and reporting
  • Experience supporting budgets, invoicing processes or event-related financial administration
  • A customer-first approach with sound judgement and a solutions-focused mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and contribute positively to team outcomes
  • Confidence working in dynamic live event or stadium environments
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends to support stadium events and matchdays
  • Experience in sport, stadium or entertainment environments will be highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Events or Communications will be highly regarded
