The opportunity

The Stadium Projects Lead plays an important role in delivering initiatives that improve fan experience, operational performance and commercial outcomes across Marvel Stadium and premium business operations. Working across multiple business functions, this role helps ensure projects, systems and reporting capabilities support the AFL’s broader stadium and organisational objectives.

 

You will lead and coordinate cross-functional projects spanning stadium operations, ticketing, membership, marketing, finance and technology, while driving continuous improvement across systems, reporting and workflows. What you’ll own

You will help drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across key stadium and premium business functions. Working closely with stakeholders across the AFL, you’ll play a central role in delivering projects, insights and operational outcomes that enhance customer and business performance.

 

You’ll add value through:

  • Leading cross-functional projects across stadium operations, membership, ticketing and commercial teams to deliver operational and strategic outcomes
  • Coordinating the departmental technology roadmap and acting as a key liaison between stadium and technology teams to prioritise and implement enhancements
  • Driving operational and customer-focused improvements across systems, reporting and workflows
  • Developing and enhancing reporting across revenue, attendance, utilisation and operational performance metrics to support data-informed decision-making
  • Supporting integration and optimisation across platforms including Salesforce, Ticketmaster Archtics and Tableau
  • Partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Marketing, Stadium Operations, Technology and Membership Shared Services to align priorities and deliver outcomes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity and stakeholder alignment across business functions
  • Preparing insights, updates and recommendations for senior stakeholders to support planning, prioritisation and project delivery
  • Contributing to match day and event day operations to support fan experience and commercial outcomes
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen team capability, delivery standards and operational performance

 

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and competing priorities within fast-paced and complex operational environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience delivering operational, customer or commercial improvement initiatives from concept through to implementation and review
  • Strong analytical and reporting capability, including the ability to translate data and insights into actionable outcomes
  • Experience working with CRM, ticketing or database systems within customer, membership or sales-driven environments
  • Sound problem-solving capability with a practical and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and accountability for delivery outcomes
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business functions and build effective working relationships
  • Experience preparing reports, insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Advanced capability across Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and reporting tools
  • Experience with Salesforce, Monday.com, Ticketmaster Archtics, Tableau or similar operational and reporting platforms is advantageous
  • Exposure to stadium, membership, events or live sporting environments will be highly regarded
