- Delivering and growing NAB AFL Auskick and Superkick programmes across the region
- Building clear pathways that help children and families move from introductory programmes into local clubs and competitions
- Developing strong working relationships with schools, clubs, teachers, volunteers, associations and community organisations
- Collaborating with the STJFL, SFL and other football stakeholders to strengthen participation outcomes
- Recruiting, supporting and developing Auskick and Superkick Coordinators and other community volunteers
- Training and supporting casual staff to deliver safe, inclusive and high-quality football programmes
- Developing and implementing local participation plans that respond to community needs and growth opportunities
- Supporting participation growth among girls, multicultural communities and people with disability
- Coordinating and contributing to school football, AFL Nines, community football activities and other AFL Tasmania programmes and events
- Supporting AFLW and VFLW match-day participation initiatives, including occasional evening and weekend work
- Experience working with children and young people in sport, education, recreation, community development, events, youth engagement or a related environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building capability, with the ability to work effectively with schools, clubs, volunteers and community stakeholders
- Initiative and sound judgement, with the ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team
- Strong organisation and time-management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities in a field-based role
- A qualification in Sport Management, Recreation, Education, Coaching or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- Competence using Microsoft Office products and the ability to use technology effectively in day-to-day work
- A current Tasmanian Driver Licence
- A valid Employee Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends
