- Setting and delivering long-term facilities, infrastructure, asset management and venue services strategies
- Leading managers, multidisciplinary teams, contractors and service providers to maintain a safe, compliant and event-ready venue
- Strengthening asset performance through lifecycle planning, condition assessments, maintenance and renewal programmes
- Ensuring critical building infrastructure, engineering systems, precinct utilities and security-related infrastructure remain compliant and fit for purpose
- Overseeing venue logistics, deliveries, storage, event setup, technical infrastructure and venue configuration
- Maintaining high presentation and amenity standards across public, premium, back-of-house and precinct environments
- Governing statutory and building compliance, permits, contractor obligations, infrastructure risks, emergency preparedness and business continuity
- Leading infrastructure projects and capital works from prioritisation and business cases through procurement, commissioning and operational handover
- Managing operating and capital budgets with commercial discipline, effective procurement and a focus on measurable value
- Partnering with event hirers, internal teams, suppliers, regulators and emergency services to resolve complex issues and strengthen operational readiness
- Building leadership, workforce and technical capability across an inclusive, accountable and improvement-focused function
- Using technology, data and AI to improve sustainability, systems, processes and ways of working
- Significant senior leadership experience across infrastructure, facilities, asset management, venue operations or logistics within a complex, high-profile asset environment
- A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, facilities management, construction, asset management or a related discipline, or a relevant trade or technical qualification supported by substantial equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of building and engineering systems, asset lifecycle management, maintenance delivery, statutory compliance and operational risk
- Demonstrated experience in contractor governance, capital works and the delivery of infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to lead managers, multidisciplinary operational teams and delivery partners with clarity and accountability
- Strong commercial and financial capability across operating and capital budgets, procurement, contracts, investment prioritisation and supplier performance
- The ability to establish service levels and performance measures, use data to inform decisions and address performance gaps
- Sound judgement and the ability to influence, negotiate and make effective decisions under pressure
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management capability across varied internal and external partners
- Availability to work outside standard business hours and participate in after-hours escalation arrangements
