The opportunity

As Premium Accounts Executive, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional experiences for AFL and Marvel Stadium premium members and hospitality clients while supporting the continued growth of our premium offerings. Your work will help strengthen client relationships, drive retention and create opportunities for long-term engagement across the AFL’s premium membership and corporate hospitality portfolio.

 

Working closely with the Premium Accounts Manager and broader team, you will manage a portfolio of premium clients, develop renewal strategies and contribute to new business growth. You will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver value for clients and support commercial outcomes across the portfolio.

 

This is a max-term opportunity until August 2027. 

 

What you’ll own

You will help build strong, lasting relationships that support client retention, growth and engagement across the AFL and Marvel Stadium premium portfolio.

 

You’ll add value through:

  • Managing a portfolio of premium membership and corporate hospitality clients, delivering a high standard of service and engagement
  • Developing and executing account management and renewal plans that support retention and long-term client value
  • Identifying opportunities to grow existing client relationships and increase participation across premium products and experiences
  • Supporting the delivery of new business initiatives across the premium membership and corporate hospitality portfolio
  • Working with internal teams to create meaningful engagement opportunities that strengthen client connections and demonstrate value
  • Building productive relationships with AFL Clubs, Marvel Stadium stakeholders, venue partners, ticketing providers and other key contacts
  • Leveraging client advocacy, referrals and networks to generate new commercial opportunities
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team environment aligned with AFL values
  • Maintaining accurate client information and supporting effective account management through CRM systems and reporting tools
  • Supporting the achievement of commercial objectives and portfolio performance targets through proactive client engagement and relationship management

 

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, account management or a related commercial role
  • A track record of achieving sales, retention or commercial performance targets
  • Strong capability in building and maintaining trusted client and stakeholder relationships
  • Experience developing and implementing account management, engagement or renewal strategies
  • Well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to identify and pursue opportunities for business growth within existing and prospective client networks
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience working collaboratively across teams to achieve shared outcomes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage client relationships and account activity
  • Sound judgement, initiative and a proactive approach to delivering outcomes
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • An interest in and understanding of the AFL competition and broader sporting landscape
