The opportunity
As a Premium Membership Casual, you will help create high-quality experiences for Stadium and Premium Membership customers across AFL Membership, Medallion Club, Altis and Premier Suites.
Working across customer service channels, events and match days, you will provide responsive support, maintain accurate membership information and assist with bookings and administration.
Based at AFL House, the role also involves match-day and event work at the MCG, Marvel Stadium and other venues as required.
What you’ll own
You will support the smooth delivery of premium membership services by providing professional customer care and reliable operational support.
You’ll add value through:
- Delivering responsive and professional service to Stadium and Premium Membership customers by phone, email and in person
- Responding accurately to customer enquiries and escalating complex matters to the appropriate team member
- Maintaining complete and accurate membership records, including customer interactions and outcomes
- Assisting with hospitality and premium membership bookings, ensuring information is processed accurately and on time
- Supporting customer entry, ticketing, membership servicing and issue resolution at match days and events
- Providing operational support across member events, activities and premium experiences
- Working collaboratively with Customer Care, Stadium and Premium Business, Marketing and Experience, venue operations teams and partners
- Following service standards and event-day procedures to deliver safe, reliable and consistent customer experiences
- Identifying recurring customer enquiries or operational issues and sharing insights with the team
- Using technology and AI to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of service delivery
What you’ll bring
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, membership, ticketing, events or a related service environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders
- The ability to remain organised, adaptable and customer-focused in busy and high-pressure environments
- Sound judgement and strong attention to detail, with the ability to resolve issues or escalate them promptly
- Experience using customer relationship management systems, databases or ticketing platforms, with experience using Archtics considered desirable
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn new technology and systems
- Knowledge of the AFL competition and an understanding of the expectations associated with premium customer experiences
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering fair, respectful and consistent service
