ABOUT THE ROLE
As the VIP Accounts Executive you will oversee the AFL’s VIP Client Program across both AFL and Marvel Stadium’s premium membership and hospitality portfolios. This role is responsible for the development and execution of end-to-end client engagement plans, ensuring a high standard of service across all touchpoints - including match-day experiences, gifting, and exclusive events.
Beyond client retention, you will play a pivotal role in the broader growth strategy, collaborating with the Corporate Sales and Premium Memberships teams to identify and secure new business opportunities across the AFL and Marvel Stadium’s hospitality portfolio.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee the delivery of core premium products to ensure all service standards are met or exceeded.
- Manage the execution of bespoke match-day engagement and hosting for VIP accounts.
- Manage the development of annual renewal strategies with a primary focus on client retention.
- Identify opportunities for portfolio growth and account upsell within the existing VIP base.
- Co-create exclusive non-match-day events and hospitality offerings tailored to the VIP portfolio.
- Contribute to the broader commercial strategy by supporting the Sales and Premium Memberships teams in new business acquisition.
- Collaborate on the development of specialized marketing and communication assets specifically for the VIP audience.
- Foster a client-centric culture within the team, promoting a deep understanding of VIP expectation.
- Capture and share insights regarding the evolving needs of the VIP cohort to inform future product development.
- Partner with the Marvel Stadium Marketing team to ensure all VIP experiences align with the broader marketing and brand strategy.
- Facilitate the integration of internal AFL and stadium partners into the VIP program ecosystem as they join.
OUR IDEAL TEAM MEMBER
Core Competencies:
- Minimum 2 - 3 years in a business development and/or account management role;
- Track record of delivering on commercial & sales targets along with other commercial metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to forge strong, sustainable client and stakeholder relationships
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong passion for the AFL competition
