The opportunity

Marvel Stadium is one of Melbourne’s leading destinations for business events, corporate functions and premium experiences. As Venue Sales Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting the continued growth and commercial success of the ELEVATE business by helping turn enquiries into memorable events and commercial outcomes.

 

Working closely with the Sales and Operations teams, you will support the end-to-end sales process across Marvel Stadium’s diverse portfolio of event spaces. From preparing proposals and managing contracts to supporting business development activities, you will help ensure a seamless experience for clients while contributing to the ongoing success of the business.

 

This is a fixed-term six-month opportunity based at Stadium House, Melbourne, with a hybrid working arrangement.

 

What you'll own

You will help drive venue sales activity while supporting exceptional client experiences and efficient team operations.

 

You'll add value through:

  • Managing inbound venue hire and event enquiries, supporting the conversion of opportunities into confirmed bookings.
  • Preparing tailored sales proposals that showcase Marvel Stadium's event spaces, experiences and commercial offerings.
  • Drafting, issuing and managing venue hire contracts and associated sales documentation.
  • Coordinating event scripts and supporting documentation to enable seamless event delivery.
  • Maintaining proposal templates, floor plans, venue maps, procedures and sales resources to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Supporting sales pipeline management through prospect research and outbound business development activities.
  • Assisting with client engagement initiatives, including site inspections, familiarisations and hosting opportunities.
  • Coordinating post-event feedback and assisting with insights that improve the client experience.
  • Providing reporting, invoicing support and general sales administration to the Precinct Sales team.
  • Contributing to process improvements and initiatives that support business growth and team effectiveness.

 

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience in sales coordination, events, hospitality, venue hire or a similar customer-focused environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience preparing proposals, contracts, presentations or sales documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with a range of internal and external contacts.
  • A customer and service-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Sound commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to business growth and revenue outcomes.
  • The initiative to identify opportunities for process improvement and support new business development activities.
  • Experience in outbound sales or business development will be highly regarded.
  • Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications are desirable.
