The opportunity
As Campaign Lead – NSW Fan Hub, you’ll help bring the game closer to fans, participants and communities across NSW and ACT through engaging, locally relevant campaigns and activations.
Please note that this role is a 6 Month Maximum Term Contract.
This role plays an important part in supporting AFL NSW/ACT’s fan engagement strategy across key initiatives including the AFL Premiership Season, AFLW, Sydney Derby, NAB AFL Auskick and community football programs. Working closely with internal teams, clubs, agencies and community stakeholders, you’ll coordinate integrated campaigns across multiple channels and touchpoints while helping deliver experiences that strengthen connection to Australian Football. This is a fast-paced and collaborative role suited to someone who enjoys bringing campaigns to life and contributing to meaningful community and fan outcomes.
What you’ll own
You’ll help deliver campaigns and fan experiences that grow engagement, participation and connection to the game across NSW and ACT.
You’ll add value through:

Supporting the planning and delivery of integrated fan engagement campaigns across AFL NSW/ACT

Coordinating campaign activity across digital, social, email, events and community activations

Assisting in the delivery of campaigns aligned to key AFL initiatives including AFL, AFLW, Sydney Derby, NAB AFL Auskick and school and community football programs

Developing clear and concise campaign briefs for internal teams, agencies and external partners

Consulting with stakeholders to align campaign objectives, audience targeting, messaging and deliverables

Coordinating briefing, approval and delivery processes across multiple departments and partners

Supporting fan experiences and activations across major AFL and AFLW events

Coordinating campaign content and creative assets across a range of marketing channels

Working with internal creative teams and external agencies to ensure campaign materials are delivered accurately and on time

Monitoring campaign timelines, deliverables and budgets to support effective execution

Tracking campaign performance and contributing to reporting and post-campaign reviews

Identifying opportunities to improve campaign delivery, stakeholder communication and campaign processes
What you’ll bring

Demonstrated experience in marketing, campaigns, sport, events or fan engagement environments

Strong campaign coordination skills across multiple channels and stakeholders

Experience developing campaign briefs and managing briefing and approval processes

Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences

Proven ability to manage competing priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment

Strong organisational and project coordination capability with excellent attention to detail

Ability to build collaborative and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Experience supporting fan engagement, participation or community-focused initiatives

Confidence coordinating creative assets and campaign deliverables across multiple touchpoints

Ability to contribute ideas and insights that improve campaign effectiveness and audience engagement

Experience working with creative agencies, suppliers or cross-functional teams
-
Familiarity with AFL brand and communication standards or the ability to work within established brand frameworks

Experience in sport, entertainment or community engagement environments will be highly regarded

A current Class C Driver’s Licence
